Donald Joseph Qualls, better called DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. He shot to fame after his role in Road Trip. Since then, he has appeared in more than 20 films, such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. Also, he has been on more than 22 series, like Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma at age 14 and has been fighting it ever since. Within two years the cancer is now into remission. However, the treatment at this early stage caused a significant impact on his body. It also slowed his development. Financial security became his main objective once he began, as he'd seen poverty throughout his entire childhood. He said in an interview that he said that if I don't have financial stability or I find myself feeling out of control in the world, then I'm going to be miserable. He also looks back at his childhood and hopes to take action on the issue of bullying. "Cruelty breaks me heart," he said. He says that his ideal job would be that of father figures in reality and in film. The director doesn't choose him to play those parts, but he says. He would like to have a child of his own when he would be able to devote less time to his career and more to his child.
